Terms of Service

Welcome to Lumi. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Lumi mobile application (the “App”) provided by Fiyms (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

Lumi is a digital companion and journaling application that allows users to express thoughts, manage virtual currencies (coins), buy in-app items such as hats, outfits, and scenes, and customize their companion character.

2. In-App Virtual Purchases and Economy

A. Virtual Currency and Items

• The App includes virtual currency (“Coins”) and virtual cosmetic items such as character clothing, accessories, and background scenes.
• These coins and virtual items have no real-world monetary value, do not constitute property, and cannot be redeemed, traded, or sold for real cash or legal tender.
• Coins are earned through app participation, such as journaling or releasing content, or acquired through promotional events.

B. Purchases & Refunds

• All real-money purchases, including Premium status or coin bundles if applicable, are processed strictly via the Google Play Store Billing API.
• All purchases are final, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable by us. Refund requests under exceptional circumstances must be submitted through the Google Play Store refund framework.

3. Premium Subscriptions

• Lumi offers a Premium version that unlocks special perks. Subscription validation and entitlements are managed securely via RevenueCat.
• Billing & Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the price and interval specified during checkout unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.
• Cancellation: You can cancel or manage your Lumi Premium subscription through your Google Play Account Settings. Uninstalling the App does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

4. User Content and Data Loss Disclaimer

• Local Processing: Text entries, journals, and personal inputs you create remain stored exclusively inside the local app sandbox on your physical mobile device.
• Data Loss Risk: Because we do not back up journal entries to external cloud servers, you are responsible for maintaining your data. We are not liable for lost content, corrupt database logs, or missing virtual items resulting from an app uninstall, device update, device loss, or operating system failure.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code or assets of Lumi.
• Use automated scripts, exploits, or third-party tools to manipulate the virtual coin economy or bypass Premium subscription checks.
• Use the App for illegal or unauthorized purposes in your jurisdiction.

6. Intellectual Property

All design graphics, characters including the Lumi mascot, app icons, source code, UI elements, and brand names are the intellectual property of Fiyms and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

7. Limitation of Liability & Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, COINS, OR ACCESS, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE APP.
